Burgundy Wine Dinner with Peter Wasserman
Please join us for a special dinner showcasing wines from the esteemed Becky Wasserman Selection wines, in Burgundy. The dinner will be lead by our guest host Peter Wasserman, the consultant of Becky Wasserman, explaining the distinctive nature of the wines and how they compliment the unique three courses he has chosen to pair them with. Come taste the illustrious flavors of Burgundy in every hand selected wine, and we’re sure you’ll fall in love.
Becky Wasserman Selection, also known as La Serbert, was founded in 1979 by Becky Wasserman, a New York native and lover of all things French, who sailed to Burgundy in 1968. After being a broker for a barrel maker she decided to start her own company, becoming a pioneer and specialist in the export of small domain wines from the regions of France. They pride themselves in choosing wines that honor their appellations and do not support one single method of vinification or an ideal type of wine. The company is run by a small team of seven that often wine and dine together. For them, wine is much more than a commodity, it is a way to ease people and embellish their lives. Their motto is” if we won’t drink it, we won’t sell it”.
Peter Wasserman Bio:
Peter Wasserman is the son of founder Becky Wasserman and also the global consultant for the company. Growing up with a wine exporter as his mother he was destined to become a consultant for the company.
